Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is an effective treatment for teaching those who struggle with anxiety the skills to handle these thoughts and feelings more effectively so they have less influence over you. ACT can also be used in combination with Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) in the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). I am trained in both these approaches.
